Jon Collin

Jon Collin is an English guitarist who came out of the experimental scene around Manchester and Sheffield and is now based in Stockholm. He plays electric and acoustic guitar, moving between improvisation and composed pieces with slide, e-bow and fingerpicking, and he is known for releasing his music on his own small labels in handmade packaging. Collin first ran Winebox Press, a cassette label whose tape cases he built by hand from old wooden furniture. His LP High Peak Selections came out on Winebox Press in 2013. Early Music followed it and gave its name to his later imprint.
