Lay Llamas

Country: ItalyMember of: Mouse and Sequencers

Lay Llamas is a psychedelic music project led by the Sicilian musician Nicola Giunta. Giunta has described its sound as pagan post-punk, drawing on old religious traditions, ancient practices and altered states of mind. The project is known for its albums on Rocket Recordings. Lay Llamas began as a duo of Giunta and Gioele Valenti. Their debut Ostro came out on Rocket Recordings in May 2014, and that autumn they supported Goat on a UK tour. Thuban (Rocket, 2018) has guest spots from Clinic, Mark Stewart of The Pop Group, Goatshee of Goat and saxophonist Sergio Pomante of Ulan Bator.
