Milo Fine

Milo Fine is an American improviser based in Minneapolis, where he has played free jazz and freely improvised music since the late 1960s. He started on drums in 1961, added piano in 1966 and clarinet in 1974, and has also played marimba and the m-drums, a percussion set made of found objects that he built himself. He has long organised improvised music concerts in the city. Fine founded Blue Freedom in 1969, a group that became the Milo Fine Free Jazz Ensemble.
