Pete Namlook
Pete Namlook (born Peter Kuhlmann, 1960-2012) was a German electronic musician from Frankfurt. In 1992 he founded the label FAX +49-69/450464, which became a home for ambient, ambient techno and electronic music, much of it made in collaboration with other artists. His stage name is a phonetic reversal of his surname. Namlook issued records on FAX under many series and project names, among them Air, Silence (with Dr. Atmo), Jet Chamber (with Atom Heart), Koolfang (with David Moufang) and Psychonavigation (with Bill Laswell).
