Robert Lippok

Robert Lippok is a German musician, composer, visual artist and stage designer, born in East Berlin in 1966. With his brother Ronald he founded the experimental group Ornament und Verbrechen in the early 1980s, and in 1995 the two formed To Rococo Rot with Stefan Schneider, a trio that lasted until 2014 and in which he played synthesizers and samplers. His solo electronic work has been released on Raster-Noton since 2001. His solo albums include Open Close Open (2001), Robot (Western Vinyl, 2006), Redsuperstructure (2011) and Applied Autonomy (2018).
