Wolfgang Voigt

Wolfgang Voigt (born 1961) is a German electronic musician and producer based in Cologne. He is best known for Gas, a project inspired by his youthful experiences in the Königsforst, a forest near Cologne, which he has described as a way of bringing the forest into the disco. He also co-founded the Cologne label and shop Kompakt and has recorded under many aliases, among them Mike Ink. Wolfgang Voigt began producing as Mike Ink with the acid EP The Dialogue and started the Profan imprint in 1993.
