Yellow Swans
Yellow Swans was the duo of Pete Swanson, on voice, drum machine and electronics, and Gabriel Mindel Saloman, on guitar, feedback and electronics. They formed in Portland, Oregon, in the autumn of 2001, after Saloman moved up from the East Bay, and later spent two years in Oakland. They toured constantly and released a large body of work, much of it on LOAD, including At All Ends in 2007. The duo split in 2008. Going Places, recorded in Portland that year, came out on Type in 2010. Fifteen years after their last concert they played again at the Oblivion Access festival in Austin in June 2023.
