Ton
2012 release ** Limited edition of 150 copies. "Ton is the project of Dimitris Damaskos (aka Damcase) and Haris Koutsokostas (Vokal Idiot). The duo creates a diverse audio environment blending analogue sound sources with field recordings and lo-fi samples with sine waves & high pitched tones. Although the two musicians come from quite different musical backgrounds, their collaboration for this release creates a dialogue of unique interest, in wich silence and intensity, sound in unison and in ba…
Leaves Fall

Gilded Eternity
**Finally repressed / repackaged on CD format for these incredible remastered / reissues from 2008. ** A Gilded Eternity is the third and final album from Loop, it originally came out in January 1990, and was recently reissued as part of the Loop Remasters on 2CD in 2009. The 7 tracks on the album (plus the two tracks on the bonus 7”) are from a band at the absolute peak of their power; there was far more to Loop than bludgeoning riffs and cranking up the gain control. Here was a band that also …
Heaven's End
Remastered CD reissue + additional CD with bonus tracks and Peel Session. Had Loop been present at Woodstock, they probably would have hatched a plan to obtain all the brown acid that Wavy Gravy warned spectators not to take. After hearing his declaration that "The brown acid's a bummer, man!," Robert Hampson and his droogs would have likely gone incognito as security staff, offering to rid the concert goers of the bad trips waiting to be had. They would have procedeed to ingest what they could …
Fade Out
Remastered CD reissue + additional CD with bonus tracks, guitar loops and Peel Session. Distinguishing one Loop record from another is nearly as tricky as doing the same for the Ramones or AC/DC. Since Loop more or less stuck to one thing, remaining consistently great and gradually developing an experimentalist streak throughout their brief lifespan, the actual sound of each record is what separates one from the next. Aside from increasing control over their instruments, there isn't a great deal…
Giant Clowns Of The Solar World

Bad Heads And Bad Cats
*2024 stock*  With Charlie Mariano onboard, Embryo move further into jazz rock territory but with a lot of the krautrock/psychedelic element intact.  The CD features 20 minutes of bonus material. "This one turns into a very jazzy direction, however some experimental creepy approach is still there. In the 70's I saw Embryo live several times - each time it was surprising, amazing, turned into a differnt direction musically. Even some studio albums can catch this terrific live atmosphere. 'Bad Hea…
Dr. Aftershave And The Mixed Pickles
This was Missus Beastly's third studio album released in 1976. If you'll notice on the cover art they have the album's title as such as to look like it's the band's name, and the title of the album looks like it would be "For Missus Beastly". A trick by the band really so that they wouldn't have to release this album with Dieter Dierks and Venus Music to which their contract stipulated that they had to.They had had a falling out with Producer Dierks over the cover art of their last album and fel…
Father, Son And Holy Ghosts
*2023 stock* This album is a bit difficult to pigeonhole, as most of the early Embryo work is. The opening number sounds if anything, like an outtake from Miles Davis' Jack Johnson soundtrack, but with lead guitar sound more prominant. Then, gears are switched, and you are listening to acoustic folk guitar and sitar, which melts into a cool ostenato riff flanging around, that just builds and builds, with countermelody on Violin (or Veena?) and guitar weaving in and out, along with the drum parts…
Missus Beastly
Missus Beastly from Herford were among the most famous German psychedelic and jazz-rock bands, with the most confusing history of all of them. Their first LP released on CPM in 1970 - without any title, just like the second LP in 1974 - had a beautiful red cover artwork and is traded today at around 1000 €. The vinyl edition on Garden of Delights comes in the original red gatefold cover and with four-page insert in LP size.
A Blade Because A Blade Is Whole
Across A Blade Because A Blade Is Whole, DePlume’s reflections on healing, dignity, and struggle are communicated through a stirring assemblage of disparate musics: ghostly and ancient folk melodies, groove-anchored maelstroms of swirling folk-jazz, elegant string arrangements that strike a midpoint between Ravel and Gainsbourg (courtesy of Macie Stewart), disembodied voices reconfiguring into the shape of a post-modern Greek chorus, noir atmosphere, and allegoric, troubadouric song. Throughout,…
Loss
*100 copies limited edition* There is a wooden platform overlooking the marsh at the halfway point of this trail, just the same as it’s been for years. One innocuous autumn afternoon you lean against its railing for a photograph that your companion insists on capturing because of that perfect peach light in the distant cirrus. 4:23pm. The creaky waist-high beam gives way just a bit, loosened by seasonal damp, and you startle slightly but find your footing with a well-trained portrait smile. The …

Avenue of the Living
Big Tip! * Edition of 100 copies including a 7" EP, 200 pages Hardback cover with poster * "Avenue of the Living" is a book that arrives as a parallel work to a film titled Aleph, by artist Iva Radivojević. It unfolds as a dreamscape guided by a prose poem that weaves through photographs, diary notes and found objects, all of which were collected during the travels and the making of Aleph. Aleph, inspired by Jorge Luis Borges, points to a hidden portal that contains the entire universe. When loo…
Orchestral Tape Studies II
Orchestral Tape Studies II is an enthralling amalgam of orchestral textures carefully crafted by zakè. It is a continuation of its predecessor, Orchestral Tape Studies which was released to high acclaim in 2019. Bringing forth pastoral meditations with becalmed, atmospheric intent, Orchestral Tape Studies II is a convincing display of beautiful scores primed for the self-reflective moments that are both contemplative and thought provoking. These delicate repetitions, reticent sound treatments, a…
The Black Record
Necessary reissue of a truly seminal, minimalist totem and founding document of the avant-garde underground!
Reality Engine
The third and final LP in 36's synth trilogy is now available. Reality Engine continues the melodic, melancholy machine sound started with Wave Variations and Symmetry Systems, exploring the blossoming dynamics of artificial intelligence and the ever-changing definition of reality. Over the course of the five years gracing our roster, the multifaceted essence of 36's sound reverberates with unmistakable diversity. His sonic repertoire, rich in variation and innovation, has consistently evolved, …
The Willisau Concert
Joe McPhee's first international release, Black Magic Man, was issued on the newly formed Hat Hut imprint in 1975. It was a watershed moment for the 35-year-old musician. Based in Poughkeepsie, New York, he was too far away from Manhattan to have participated extensively in the Loft Jazz happenings of the decade. European exposure, however, would give McPhee an alternative circuit, something of an escape route from the trappings of American cultural myopia. " In support of the new record for thi…
Downtown Castles Can Never Block The Sun
Ben LaMar Gay’s de facto debut album, 'Downtown Castles Can Never Block The Sun', was our attempt to introduce the legendary Chicago composer / improviser / renaissance man to the rest of the world with a compilation of tracks from 7 albums he made over 7 years (though he hadn’t yet made the effort to actually release). The material showcases Gay’s penchant for genre-hopping – from Steve Reich-ian soundscape voyages to Don Cherry-esque polyrhythm treks to Jorge Ben-style vocal-and-string earworm…
