Malenčyk / Lami is a double vinyl pairing unpublished archival recordings of Belarusian fiddler Stanisłaŭ Malenčyk with Italian sound artist Giovanni Lami's response to that archive.
Krope is a six-part conceptual album by Belarusian sound artist and producer Anton Anishchanka. Rooted in archival folk songs recorded between the 1960s and 2000s, it transforms fragile voices of the past into living, cinematic sound worlds. Created in collaboration with ethnographer Iryna Vasilyeva, the album weaves Belarusian traditional music with field recordings, acoustic instruments, and analog synthesizers — an immersive journey where memory, landscape, and resilience converge.

*2026 repress. 300 copies limited edition* After serving for years as a sought-after harpist in various constellations and genres, Laura De Jongh now shares with us an intimate insight of what sounds like the Third Space of her daily, rooted life as a music teacher and mother of two offsprings, where she composes meandering miniatures free of ego, validation and urge.
With references to New Age, ambient and the proximity of field recordings, Laura De Jongh teaches us that music doesn't need to g…
Amsterdam-based collective Wanderwelle concludes their trilogy on Important Records with an album that confronts the climate crisis and its devastating impact on coastal ecosystems. From overfishing to warming and acidifying seas, the group documents the decline of fish, seabirds, crustaceans and other marine life. Following 2024's All Hands Bury The Cliffs At Sea and 2022 Black Clouds Above The Bows, Ghosts Beneath The Brine is another mournful take on the woes of the natural world. There's ris…
Images of Life is the career-spanning, 3xLP retrospective boxset illuminating the staggering breadth and depth of Detroit's unheralded songwriting genius, Ted Lucas. Disc one "Strange Mysterious Sounds (1965-1970)" highlights Ted's flirtation with psychedelic major label clout via his bands the Spike Drivers, the Misty Wizards and the Horny Toads. "Rainy Days (1970-1974)" will be the solo acoustic warmth and charm most familiar to folks already aware of Ted's self- titled "OM" album from 1975. "…
De Mond blend gargles of stomach ache electronic dubs with the energy of a raging ozz garage band and the blasting beat of a heavily sampled hip hop act, sauced with neon vocals sang through the exhaust pipe of a lost balkenbrei eating uncle from Peer in backward Limburg! We always heard the echo's of late 90's / early 2000's Providence / Load loudness in De Mond's live shows, without the masks, though with the red paint dripping all over the floor. There's surely that high energy warehouse punk…
*2026 repress* Searching was self-recorded in Ronald’s living room on a 4-Track Tape Recorder in 1984. The recordings symbolise his engagement to cross-over everything that was known to him musically at that time. Most importantly, all recordings reflect his personal way of searching; searching for his own characteristic sound. Rhythmical patterns meet well balanced distortion, shaping the music into a mirror of his character. He was part of several Dutch Latin and Jazz bands, including Cascada …
*300 copies limited edition* In a Secret Room is a retrospective that reopens the sonic and visual archive of KKD, bringing back to light a trajectory that long remained underground within the history of Italian new wave. The tracks, recorded between 1979 and 1986, reflect a constantly evolving process shaped by experimentation, improvisation, and a drive toward new languages. The project takes shape inside a former hotel in Italy’s Po Valley, transformed into a studio, rehearsal space, and visu…
On Grumpy Pieces, Harmonious Thelonious condenses his long-evolving language of interlocking melodies, polyrhythms and minimalist electronics into a rougher, nervier form, where grooves bristle with tension and noise becomes a structural force.
On Un Rêve Sans Conséquence Spéciale, Heldon compress their sound into a harsher, more pressurised zone, where sharpened synth-guitar structures pulse, splinter and recombine, holding tight form even as they threaten to rupture.
Expanded Content: Includes a Bonus LP of rare live material from Denmark and Gothenburg. "Rock för kropp och själ" stands as the final, definitve statement from Träd, Gräs och Stenar during their original tenure with the legendary Silence label. By 1972, the band had reached a breaking point. After five years of relentless touring - defined by marathon three-to-four-hour performances delivered four or five nights a week - the collective was physically and creatively spent. The weight of expectat…
On Independent / Interdependent, Savina Yannatou, Gonçalo Almeida and Costis Drygianakis turn a live trio into a dark, hovering organism, where voice, double bass and electronics circle each other in tense, shifting proximity, testing how far independence can stretch without breaking connection.
On Mushin, Susana Santos Silva and Vasco Trilla strip trumpet and percussion down to pure responsiveness, letting sound arise and vanish like breath in a Zen exercise, where every gesture feels both unpremeditated and utterly focused.
This project is a dynamic exploration of songwriting from an instrumentalist’s perspective. Rather than following a fixed path, it fluctuates—drifting between the sonic possibilities of instrumental textures, timbral exploration, and sound processing. These elements give rise to evolving patterns: from abstract soundscapes to clear, repetitive melodies and canons. The music weaves together experimental, improvised, contemporary influences mixing with avant- pop creating a collage of shifting moo…

Australian composer-performers Judith Hamann and James Rushford have worked together in countless projects for two decades, perhaps most notably in Golden Fur, their trio with Sam Dunscombe. Black Truffle is pleased to announce Midmeste, their first work as a duo. Its title is Middle English for ‘the middlemost point’, alluding to how the piece builds on the points of overlap between the highly personalised musical languages Hamann and Rushford have developed in recent years.

Cucoma Combo are back with their impetuous and political sound, an urgent need to communicate in order to awaken consciences and react to the sick immobility of our times. Captain Marco Zanotti (Classica Orchestra Afrobeat/Lolo) once again gathers his pirate crew and sets sail for new Atlantic and Caribbean adventures. From Cape Verde to Salvador de Bahia, from Haiti to Colombia, then back to Tanzania and Zimbabwe. An inspired and furious attitude incorporates disparate rhythms, languages, and s…

However, there is a specific thread running t…
