The first full length solo album by musician and visual artist Felia Gram-Hanssen. Taking on different roles as field recordist, singer, producer and drummer Gram-Hanssen weaves together different parts of her praxis, which results in a diverse sound environment somewhere between drone rock and music concrete. It has been more than six years in the making and now we are so happy to finally release this beautiful work.
In the title Gram-Hanssen introduces her own doppeltgänger Felaia, the albums fictive mastermind- on a quest to find treasures in an unknown virtual plane. The drums strikes the listener as a sonic embodiment of this character, a leading voice through a dream, and perhaps a link between this virtuality and the concrete world. The sound of the drums is characterised by an ambiguously low, loud, tight, loose style- A specific sound, which the fans will recognise from Gram-Hanssens past as drummer in the experimental rock band Thulebasen.

This is an album where some is up front, and other things are hidden. Follow Felaia behind the back curtain of hard-hitting drums and into her imagined world of long stretched spaces, weird mechanical creatures and somewhat of an object oriented tenderness which we promise you won’t find anywhere else.
