Futility by Rafał Zapała is a provocative album that reimagines the concert experience, fusing music with technology to challenge the traditional performer-audience dynamic. Through compositions such as No Meaning Detected and Futility, Zapała explores themes of control, engagement and the communal aspect of music in the digital age. This album invites listeners to an interactive journey, questioning the conventional boundaries of art and its consumption. This production demonstrates Zapała's innovative approach to contemporary classical music and offers a fresh perspective on the role of technology and interaction in art. This album presents music without interactive layers.
The release of this album was made possible through the generous support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Academy of Music Poznań.
