'Impeachment' brings us fresh sounds from the Lisbon-based trio Peachfuzz, composed of three of the most dynamic figures of the city's contemporary scene: drummer João Pereira, trumpeter João Almeida, and guitarist Norberto Lobo. This new release marks a shift from their previous album Peachinguinha, which was rooted in quasi-noise textures and erratic dynamics.

Here, the trio explores new sonic heights, expanding their range and embracing a broader spectrum of moods—from droning, meditative passages to the explosive bursts of energy they’ve mastered so well. Across four humorously titled tracks—Peachleira, Paralelipeach, Brad Peach, and A Peach Ó Comboio—Peachfuzz demonstrates a deep commitment to active listening and spontaneous composition.
