180 grams audiophile vinyl pressing. La Donna Invisibile is an obscure Italian drama/erotical movie from 1969, directed by Paolo Spinola, about the fading relationship between a professor and his wife. Based upon a short story by Alberto Moravia. Ennio Morricone composed and conducted the music for the movie written by Giovanna Ralli, Carla Gravina and Anita Sanders. The soundtrack also features the voice of Edda Dell'Orso. Comes on solid pink vinyl.

One of Morricone's most fantastic scores ever! The sound is very subdued and very subtle, but it's got that beautiful Morricone sound. Maestro Morricone is working in a number of different modes here – really making this one of the more richly textured soundtracks. His notes just inch by, one after one, in short, spare passages – and they build up into a tapestry of sweet, yet off-kilter sounds. On top of all that,It's beautiful stuff, and the kind of brilliant compositional work that makes Morricone one of the greatest composers ever! A wonderful mix of bossa and light grooves – and a great one if you dig the groovier side of Morricone (Dustygroove)
