Terry Callier's Live Peace collects thirteen live recordings made in Leeds in 1998 and 2001, at The Yardbird Suite / The Underground, at shows run by Lubi Jovanovich and Gip Dammone of The DIG! Family. BBE Music and the IMPRESS!VE Collective put it out in 2026 as a gatefold double LP, with the approval of Callier's daughter, Sunny Callier.
Callier plays with a small band: Jim Mullen on guitar, Chris Kibble on keyboards and Bosco D'Oliveira on percussion. The set includes What Colour Is Love, Lazarus Man and Love Theme from Spartacus, along with Fix the Blame and Jazz My Rhythm & Blues. The sound engineer Martin Dixon made the recordings, and the audio was restored from the only surviving source with AI-assisted tools, a process BBE says was meant to keep the grain of the original. Luis Coles and Claudio Passavanti mastered it at Doctor Mix, and Frank Merritt cut the lacquers at The Carvery in London. The cover and sleeve images are previously unseen.
Gatefold 2LP, BBE644ALP, released on 18 September 2026.
