*2023 repress* Brand new AMS Records/Cinevox operation on the occasion of Black Friday 2023 with a memorable soundtrack by a rock giant: Murderock Uccide a passo di danza (Dancing Death) returns to vinyl with the first reissue in over thirty-five years. Murderock is a 1984 thriller/horror directed by the legendary Lucio Fulci - with the participation of Ray Lovelock, Olga Karlatos, Claudio Cassinelli and Cosimo Cinieri - which tells of a dance school, the Arts Living Center, in which a mysterious murderer kills the students with a long pin. The soundtrack was entrusted by the production to Keith Emerson, forty years old at the time, in the phase of rapprochement with Greg Lake which would lead to the birth of Emerson Lake & Powell. In those early '80s, having temporarily set aside the experience of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, the famous keyboard player began a solo career which led him to compose some soundtracks, including Inferno for Dario Argento, (1980) Nighthawks with Sylvester Stallone (1981) and finally Murderock, an energetic 80s pop/rock mix, perfectly in line with the sounds of the time, seasoned with baroque and grandiloquent arrangements that make everything extravagant and eccentric, almost impossible to classify and one of a kind. The more 'linear' and less imaginative songs are the ones sung, Tonight Is The Night, Streets To Blame and Not So Innocent, with Doreen Chanter and Mike Sheppard special guests on vocals.

Over the years Murderock has become a cult title among fans of genre cinema, AMS Records is re-proposing it in a new version on transparent blue vinyl with gatefold cover, artwork by Eric Adrian Lee and audio remastered by Claudio Fuiano. The final four tracks – Murderock (Part 1-4) – are released on vinyl for the first time.
