Sissi Rada

Sissi Rada invites listeners to traverse the profound boundary between life on earth and the great beyond with Nana Butu, a mesmerizing new vinyl release that unfolds as an intimate audio essay. This double-sided opus traces the liminal space where earthly existence meets the ethereal unknown, blending experimental soundscapes, raw emotion, and otherworldly textures into a deeply immersive experience.

Written, performed, recorded, and mixed entirely by Sissi Rada, Nana Butu showcases the artist's singular vision while weaving in cherished contributions from an esteemed circle of collaborators. Charis Karantzas lends haunting vocals and presence, Jay Glass Dubs infuses dubwise echoes, Oï les Ox adds pulsating rhythms, and Theodor Milkov brings subtle percussive nuance. Together, they craft a sonic portal that challenges perceptions of reality, mortality, and transcendence.

"The two distinct faces of the vinyl mirror the duality of our existence," says Sissi Rada. "One side anchors us in the tangible world; the other pulls us toward the infinite. This is my meditation on letting go—and stepping through."
