Time travelling brings us back to somewhere in the early '80s, when the young Riccardo Sinigaglia was in his most prolific and creative days, and as well busy with his main and better known band Futuro Antico. This sublime session transpires the charm of the Italian Prog era, and is an unreleased document of what was a beautiful period of jams and experiments. Impossible to stick on informations and details: memories of those days are kinda blurred as the rooms were smokey... but for sure Mario De Leo is the other magnet here joining Riccardo in a mysterious trip around the four seasons probably influenced by the beauty of the mother land... Vivaldi post-acid? A multitrack heaven where Sinigaglia works out his minimalistic dream through some majestic tapes' cut-ups and loops, impressively re-sculpting the material previously recorded with his classic analog studio arsenal, while the Mediterranean strings are struck by De Leo, who is also invoking the arcane spirits of regeneration with his voice through some tight incomprehensible Southern Adriatic dialect. A perfect synthesis of genuine folk music and electronic pre-midi explorations, this precious release is not about nostalgia, it's one secret treasure drawn out just now from the dusty abyss of time.
