The Takashi Mizuhashi Quartet proudly announces the reissue of their legendary 1974 album Who Cares, a cornerstone of Japanese post-bop jazz now available in a stunning remastered vinyl edition via Three Blind Mice Records. Originally recorded on August 28, 1974, at Aoi Studio in Tokyo, this vibrant LP captures the quartet's unparalleled synergy during jazz's golden era in Japan.

Led by bassist and composer Takashi Mizuhashi, the quartet features saxophonist Yoshio Otomo on alto and soprano sax, pianist Fumio Karashima, and drummer Hideo Sekine. Highlights include the dynamic title track "Who Cares" by George and Ira Gershwin, Otomo's lyrical "In a Little Spring Waltz," Mizuhashi's originals "Deep in My Thought" and "Blues for Andrew," alongside standards like "Sometime Ago" and "Green Dolphin Street." This second TBM release showcases Mizuhashi's compositional prowess and the group's infectious energy, perfect for high-volume playback.

Celebrated for its remastered 180g vinyl with obi strip and liner notes, Who Cares blends swinging rhythms with introspective depth, earning acclaim as a must-have for jazz collectors worldwide.
