Niklaus Troxler, the graphic designer who founded the Willisau jazz festival, made the cover for this 1983 LP by the Swiss Trio Infernal. The trio was Markus Stauss on saxophone and flute, Kurt Hafen on electric bass and Jacques Widmer on drums, and the three of them wrote everything on it for KNSE International.

Two long pieces anchor the sides: Ewigkeit at ten and a half minutes and Ewig Naht Das Ende at twelve, eternity and then the end. In between come Ali & Ala, a Zwei Minuten Serenade that keeps its promise at 2:08, and Jetzt Schlägts Dreizehn ("now it strikes thirteen") to close. The sound is jazz-rock in trio form, modal saxophone over electric bass.
