The title of guitarist Barry Cleveland’s 1986 album - Stones of Precious Water - conjures images of incandescent gems, harvested from hallowed streams and held aloft to glimmer and catch the light in their many facets. And perhaps this is the truest analogue for the music contained therein. Recorded between 1981 and 1983, in mostly improvised recording sessions, the disparate nature of Stones’ creation is alluded to only by the breadth and variety of sounds it encompasses. Stones of Precious Wat…
Final work in a trilogy (Sketches, Drawings, Paintings) marking Philipp Bückle's return to music after closing his Teamforest project. Recorded in 2014 across Copenhagen and Dortmund, the album combines a visually organic sensibility with experimental composition, the titles functioning as discrete sound paintings spanning warm September evenings, rainy days, a seascape, a wedding. Mastered for vinyl by Stephan Mathieu. Ambient drone abstraction grounded in figurative diaristic detail.
Continuation of the same piano source material used on the Piano Music 7-inch, here developed into a long-form work. Orphax takes a postcard he bought in a Spanish village in 2001, while studying geology, as imaginative axis: the tranquillity of small houses, church and sand road as a place where time appears to stand still. The album builds organ-like, slightly dissonant tonal fields whose slow evolution renders that frozen-time atmosphere as patient, quiet, nostalgia-saturated ambient drone.
* Edition of 200 * Joel Gilardini is an experimental guitarist and sound designer, based in Zurich (Switzerland). His solo ambient oriented works are often based on the use of live‐looping and instant composition techniques. It’s a very unique biosphere of ambient, drone, dub, doom elements and morphing soundscapes. Joel Gilardini opens at Montags for Nik Bärtsch’s Ronin/Mobile on regular basis at Exil club (Zurich/CH), and has taken part to Y2K International Live-Looping festivals in Zurich, Pa…
* Edition of 200 * Over time, different sound elements have settled, coming to constitute a heterogeneous but at the same time subly fascinating whole. The noise was compounded by infanticidely rhythmic timbres of toy instruments, rustling and crackling of old vintage radios have been joined by snippets of miniaturized voices from the web. The final work is a fil rouge that crosses all these elements joining them in an unconventional sound research hypothesis.

**200 copies** Looking for the desert, awaiting abandonment, marrying detachment: essential steps for those who ardently want new dawns and new lands to get lost in. First of all losing the common coordinates, the secure footholds, the consolidated certainties, forgetting scores, borders and judgments. A laying down, on the one hand, of the external conventions in order to make room and give light to the unexpected, to what pulsates underground, unheard. On the other hand, a putting aside of one…
"Impressioni Organizzate di Ansie Liquide" is an immersive, languid realm, filled with elegant, poetic beauty, that bristle with unknown elements and the lingering potential of danger. Andrea Marutti and Carlo Giordani have created an album that simultaneously drowns the ear and fortifies it with breaths of fresh air. A remarkably sensitive reminder of the creative potentialities that rest at the heart of electroacoustic, concrete, and field recording based musics, doubling as a vision of their …

Like his debut album Forest Structures (Umor Rex, 2017), this new installment is an amalgam of sounds generated through multiple devices and analog synthesizers, loops and layers creating an incredible mix of textures, sounds that can almost be touched. In Caylet’s work, there is always a certain familiarity in the tones, there is an implicit nature pr…
**100 copies** In just a few years and with a handful of releases, the Canadian producer better known as Yves Malone has earned himself a reputation. In The Beginning of Nothing he continues working with many layers of analog synths and a keen sense of drum machines to create atmospheres and textures extracted from late twentieth-century collective fears of a dystopian future. Created as a sort of score to an internal elegy, Yves Malone creates soundtracks of the daily fear, regret, and resignat…
