36 is the alias of Dennis Huddleston, a British producer of ambient music who has released much of his work since 2009 on his own label, 3six Recordings. He describes his music as ambient electronic music built on melody and repeating loops, and among his influences he names the ambient intros of 1990s drum and bass and Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works. Huddleston made music under other names before his debut as 36, Hypersona, in 2009. That album opened a triptych continued by Hollow and closed by Lithea (2012), the record that brought him a wider audience.
