Amedeo Tommasi was an Italian pianist and composer in the field of modern jazz, electronic music and film music. He started his career as a jazz trombonist in a Jazz Band in Bologna. He became famous in Italy in 1960 with the radio show La coppa di jazz, then focused on piano and modern jazz. In the early 1970s, he began composing music for films.
