The April Orchestra series was RCA France's library imprint, a run of albums in the seventies and eighties by composers working under pseudonyms, and volume five, credited to Jarrell, is one of the more electronic entries: synthesizers and rhythm boxes alongside the orchestral cues, the French library sound of the disco era, glossy and slightly melancholy.
The April Orchestra records have become collectable for the same reasons as the Italian ones, anonymity and quality, and are harder to find outside France. Original RCA pressing.
