1997 first CD re-issue on RCA of two of Morricone's greatest experimental and psychedelic soundtracks respectively for Umberto Lenzi's 1974 and Massimo Dallamano's 1972 giallo films.

condition (disc/cover): NM / NM

Two giallo scores: Spasmo (Umberto Lenzi, 1974), a favourite among Morricone's thriller work for its Mellotron-heavy, dread-soaked textures, and Cosa avete fatto a Solange? (Massimo Dallamano, 1972), a school-set murder mystery with one of his most tender themes set against passages of pure unease. Ennio Morricone understood better than anyone that a giallo needs beauty to make the horror land.

RCA's OST-series CD, original edition. Both scores are otherwise expensive on vinyl.
