Bourbonese Qualk

Country: United Kingdom

Bourbonese Qualk were an experimental group formed in Southport, England, in 1979 and later based in London, where they belonged to the early industrial scene. Their music moved from raw industrial sound toward electronics, dub and jazz, with a sharp political edge drawn from squatting, anti-capitalist protest and the conflicts of Thatcher-era Britain. Simon Crab was the one constant member, and Steven Tanza joined in the early 1980s.
