Freiband

Freiband is the latest project by Frans de Waard. He has been producing music since the mid 80s, firstly on cassettes in the 80s and then on LPs and CD's afterthat. Freiband was inspired by the tape-scratching of Asmus Tietchens on his CD 'Daseinsverfehlung', but here applied to an entirely digital context.

Freiband, being the solo project of Frans de Waard has launched the first LP inspired by the hypnotic expressions of the gamelan music-style. Further expanding in…
Homeward
Second album from Frans De Waard (Goem, Shifts, Kapotte Muziek, Beequeen) under the Freiband name after the Microbes album on Ritornell. This one is more poppy and less dark, 15 songs full of melody, experiment and inspiration.
