Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan

Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan is the electronic project of English musician Gordon Chapman-Fox. Its instrumental albums, built on vintage synthesizer sounds, look at the post-war New Towns of Warrington and Runcorn in North-West England, the hopes behind them and what became of them. Chapman-Fox has traced the idea back to 1970s television adverts for the New Towns that he saw as a child. The project began with Interim Report, March 1979 on Castles In Space, the label run by Colin Morrison, which also issued The Nation's Most Central Location (2023).
