Grim

Grim is the solo noise and industrial project of the Japanese musician Jun Konagaya. He started it after White Hospital, the noise duo he had formed with Tomosada Kuwahara in the early 1980s. His work moves between industrial music, power electronics and noise, and draws on Whitehouse and SPK as well as the traditional folk music of Tibet. Grim released the EP Amaterasu on G.A. Propaganda in 1985 and the album Folk Music on Eskimo Records in 1986. The 1987 EP Message turned toward pop and folk songwriting across six tracks.
