Misha Panfilov

Misha Panfilov is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Tallinn, Estonia. His music draws on jazz, funk, soul, synthesizer music and psychedelic rock, often in the manner of library and soundtrack records, with a warm analogue sound built on repetition and slowly changing textures. He works across solo albums, a jazz septet and the garage group Penza Penza. Panfilov leads the psychedelic garage band Penza Penza, whose album Alto E Primitivo came out on Funk Night Records, the label behind much of his work.
