Soccer Committee
Soccer Committee is the song project of Dutch musician and painter Mariska Baars, started around 2005. Her records are minimal pieces for guitar and voice. The name comes from the film Shaolin Soccer. Baars is also known for her long working partnership with Rutger Zuydervelt (Machinefabriek). Baars issued the first Soccer Committee CD-R in 2005 and the album sC in 2007. Moving Furniture Records later reissued the debut on CD with remixes by Machinefabriek and Wouter van Veldhoven. Morc Records released the mini-LP Tell From the Grass in 2021.
