The Touchables

The Touchables is a group around Guro Skumsnes Moe on octobass and Ole-Henrik Moe on piccoletto violin, two instruments that let them work in extreme registers and with microtonal detail. The pair have recorded both as a duo and with a chamber ensemble of strings, winds, brass and percussion that dwells on low frequencies. The group's records are released by the Oslo label ConradSound. Guro Skumsnes Moe also plays in the bands MoE and Sult, and Ole-Henrik Moe is a composer of contemporary music. The Noise Is Rest (2019) is a duo album of music for octobass and piccoletto violin.
