Vomir

Vomir is the harsh noise wall project of Romain Perrot, a French artist born in 1973. Perrot has made noise since 1996 and started Vomir in 2006. The project is built on long, unchanging blocks of static, with no development or dynamics, and Perrot is regarded as one of the main figures of harsh noise wall. Perrot runs the label Decimation Sociale, which issues much of the Vomir catalogue and hosts his noise wall manifesto. He organises the Harsh Noise Wall Festival at Les Instants Chavirés in Montreuil. He performs with a bag over his head.
