Feral Lands & Forbidden Cities
Recorded in Brussels in 2019, Feral Lands and Forbidden Cities is Timelash's second delivery of a 4 album projected series. In their debut, A Morphology of Wonders (Aguirre Records, 2021), the duet formed by Embassador Dulgoon (Nonlocal Society, Archimboldos) and Corum (Psychic Sounds) revealed a unique musical journey that unfolds and expands like a cluster of organic matters and mechanical dialogues lit by iridescent fluorescences. Timelash's musical proposal is firmly rooted in retrofuturism,…
Orlando Furioso
Tip! With the opening phrase of “En Tornasol,” an unseen barrier melts away to reveal an alien landscape. Early European composers felt that their work reflected in its structure the divine nature of the material world. Via tuning, form, and contrapuntal alchemy, these musicians sought to illuminate and edify the complex and perfect order of existence. The music recorded here also reflects the contours of an ordered world, but it is no place any of us has ever visited. By assembling far-flung bu…
Bad Trip
Extremely rare 7" by Fifty Foot Hose band members. Bad Trip was recorded with Bob Noto on Guitar - Bob Gibson screaming and hollering and Cork Marcheschi playing bass and hitting a large card board tube with a stick. They recorded it on a two track sony in Cork's parents family room and put Bob in the bath room as a kind of sound booth. It was Cork’s way to deal with Music Concrete and he suggested that the record could be played at any speed, his love for Dadaism was fully realized in Bad Trip.…
Temidden Laaghangende Wolken
** Edition of 250 ** The Begotten is the brainchild of Jürgen De Blonde (Köhn/de portables) and Brecht Ameel (Razen), who initially performed a number of shows and released a CS under the moniker 'Kohier' - gleefully referencing the absurdity of Belgian tax systems and institutions. On their debut LP "Temidden Laaghangende Wolken" they are joined by percussionist and improv-veteran Dirk Wachtelaer (Pablo's Eye/Vanishing Pictures), who locked with De Blonde and Ameel's post-reality continuum duri…
Hedoro
** Limited edition of 300 copies. Includes an insert, download code and a UE sticker. ** Ōgon Batto is an exercise in patience; indeed, a model of restraint in these trying times. Although a fixture of the Belgian underground for over a decade (as part of the Hare Akedod label and band, the latter with DSR Lines’ David Edren), Bent Von Bent has released just two albums thus far.  A scroll through ‘Browse’ reveals a series of miniature compositions — bite-size psychedelic treats, a sequence of im…
Hargawaan Por Shail
** Edition of 150 copies**  With hard-to-define instruments, Varkenshond creates ritual and tribal madness in the vein of early Silvester Afang and Zero Kama. Varkenshond was founded in 2006 in Antwerp, Belgium while the to-be members were studying Maggergergorian spiritual philosophy with Wim Vanaeghe, Thomas "Gergeti" Kreuzfeld, and Koera Mönggüm Sorgan. They released a CD in 2007, the result of a series of therapeutic music sessions led by G. Karkaronga, and a cassette in 2013, a selection…
Suijin
Komodo Haunts is the psychedelic drone solo project of Ollie Tutty (aka Mt. Tjhris) from Lincolnshire, UK. With his music he explores drone structure, sonic textures, meditative zones and personal fictions through analogue and digital technologies, creating tape jams that play on human familiarity, natural ambiances, faux-exotica, mythologies, and "reality therapy." Taking inspiration from drone masters and new age wanderers, the Suijin album is all about getting into "the zone" and could be the…
Pass hidingly seek
Xiphiidae is the long-running solo project by Jeffry Astin, label head of underground cassette institution Housecraft. His highly abstract style, spanning over 40 releases, draws from modern and ethnic drone, tape music, musique concrète, kosmische, and lo-fi aesthetics, creating work that defies easy categorization. Pass Hidingly Seek (2009) finally receives its proper vinyl treatment through Aguirre Records. This enchanted folk-drone psychedelia occupies unique territory somewhere between Boar…
Ulau Tau / Spirit of Sun
One of the most magical recordings you'll hear this year is the first LP by UK-based one-man transcendental-drone band Tuluum Shimmering. Behind this enigmatic moniker is Jake Webster, an artist who has established his own record label, Tuluum Shimmering Records, and developed a unique approach to ambient music that defies easy categorization or geographical placement. The sound of Tuluum Shimmering is like a sort of loop-driven, timeless ethnic music without a region or a tradition. This remark…
Quaking Myth

Based in Athens, Georgia (and previously Brooklyn), Astin has built an extraordinary catalog of experimental music that spans over 40 releases, predominantly on cassette format, establishing Housecraft as one of the most respected underground tape labels in the experimental music community. Astin's highly abstract style, represented across his vast discograp…

Reissue of this long sold-out cassette on Gift Tapes. Before launching his solo project, Fennelly was a member of the junkfolk band Peeesseye and the psychedelic free jazz trio Acid Birds, experiences that inform his multifaceted approach to electronic sound sculpture. Fennelly creat…
Aeons
Pulse Emitter joins the Aguirre catalogue with a stunning new album full of clear cosmic tones for the new space age. Aeons, as the title suggests, is about different periods in time—a sonic journey that spans from ancient earth to distant futures where consciousness transcends physical form. This ambitious conceptual framework provides the foundation for one of the most compelling entries in the Portland-based artist's extensive catalog. Daryl Groetsch, the visionary behind Pulse Emitter, began…
L'Enfant Sauvage

The French musician, artist, and writer has released tapes and CDs under her own name and the moniker Je Suis Le Petit Chevalier, establishing herself as an increasingly important voice within experimental music circles. Currently based in Brussels, Atkinson represents a new generation of artists who seamlessly blend musical composition with visual art and literary expression, creating works that transcend traditional categorical bou…

Following his acclaimed Triangles LP on his own Digitalis label, Equinox represents Rose's second vinyl release under his Charlatan moniker, offering a mesmerizing journey through synthclouds and starchords layered over a carpet of pristine white hiss. Originally released on cassette via House of…

Following up his 7-inch release on NNA Tapes and an LP on Release The Bats, Terrestreality sees Dens continuing to search and destroy conventional electronic music boundaries with his distinctive approach to damaged audio and otherworldly synthesis. The Belgian synthscaper and anti-musician has established himself as a un…

The album represents a masterful exercise in sonic layering, where …
Eternal Landscapes
L.R.J. Martens, the visionary behind the Dolphins Into The Future project, presents Eternal Landscapes, a mesmerizing sonic collaboration inspired by the artwork of Belgian visual artist Ada Van Hoorenbeke. This extraordinary album captures the essence of tropical aquatic environments through two immersive compositions that blur the boundaries between natural soundscapes and musical abstraction. These ethereal landscapes transport listeners through similarly tropical aquatic zones that Martens h…
