*200 coipes limited edition* Tomas Järmyr & Dirk Serries’ The Void of Expansion is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year with a new album called Escaper on Dunk! Records and a tour they just did throughout Belgium, Poland, Germany, and Norway (Oslo). This 3rd studio album departs gently from their predecessor Governed by Decay with a more direct approach in building up the guitar soundscapes and the interaction with the majestic and versatile drumming of Tomas Järmyr. Still very expansive but the 4 pieces are signficantly their own while being part of the realm Void has been created over these past 10 years.
Format
Performed and recorded at the Sunny Side Inc. Studio (Anderlecht, Belgium) on November 17th, 2022.
Thanks to Frank Jacobs at Pearl Drums Europe, Jarle Johansen at CRS, Vidar Kolberg at 4Sound Trondheim and to Wout of DUNK! Records.
