Say the name four times and you have the album title, which is about the level of ceremony Sonny Stitt generally got. He spent his career being told he sounded like Charlie Parker, which was both unfair and not entirely wrong, and responded by recording more prolifically than almost anyone in the music and by playing tenor as often as alto to make the point. On both horns he is fluent, hard-swinging and utterly reliable, which is exactly why the critics undervalued him and the musicians did not. Nobody ever caught Stitt having an off night.

Japanese pressing. Straight-ahead saxophone playing from a man who could do it in his sleep and never did.
