Miki Yui, Tokyo-born Rhineland pioneer of a minimalist sound art that is able to break the boundaries between synthetic and natural sound and merge them, has created for the tape label Muzan Editions, operated in Nara by a German and a Canadian expat, the Label-typical sound understanding of minimal electronics perfectly harmonized with their quasi-natural sound art.

The two improvisations lasting almost 20 minutes on the Spring Spring modular synthesizer (Muzan Editions) open up a shimmering sound space in which nature, the surroundings, the environment, frogs, cicadas, wind and weather buzz out of the loudspeaker, almost tangible
