Simon Balestrazzi
Simon Balestrazzi is an Italian musician and sound artist, active in the Italian underground since 1981, when he was among the founders of the group T.A.C. (Tomografia Assiale Computerizzata). His work moves between post-industrial music, experimental rock, drone and electronic soundscapes. He lives in Cagliari, Sardinia, where he works on site-specific installations and soundtracks for dance and theatre. Simon Balestrazzi led the dark chamber ensemble Kino Glaz and was a member of Kirlian Camera in the 1990s. He studied sound engineering at the Institute of Audio Research in New York.
