Eden Ahbez's Dharmaland, arranged and performed by Ixtahuele, is the first-ever recording of this long-lost masterwork by the original hippie composer. Resurrected from Ahbez’s unrecorded sheet music, c. 1961-63. Ixtahuele has woven an enchanted tapestry of mystic exotica and experimental pop that re- establishes the songwriter as a forefather of psychedelic music and brings his work into the present.
They are joined by a host of guest artists, including nine of Ahbez’s friends and former collab…

This private press album was recorded as the soundtrack for an underground film production by (later to be) renowned television director Ian Hamilton
2014 Release. It has been eight long years since we've had a new duo album by Paul Flaherty and Chris Corsano. The two have played together in other configurations, but we all know there has always been something special and telepathic about their duo collaborations. From the moment they began playing together late in the last century, Paul and Chris communicated in weird, deep ways. And so it is here. Low Cost Space Flights was recorded in June 2013, at Eric Gagne's 'Thing in the Spring F…
Tip! *2024 stock* Originally released in 2013 for the 40th anniversary of the cult 70’s horror film, only 500 copies of The Wicker Man 40th Anniversary Edition were pressed on black vinyl which have become highly sought after. One of the maddest soundtracks you'll ever buy – a strange mix of folksy tunes, sound effects, and odd noisy bits – recorded for the equally odd film of the same name!
The record is impossible to describe accurately, but it's a really dark one – strangely fragile at some …

An acid-folk masterpiece finally revealed! When two worlds collide here's where the legacy of Tim Hollier begins, his first album was released on United Artists in 1968 and this long overdue reissue is a definitive statement of the master genius. Guest on the opening night of a Beckenham folk club run by his friend David Bowie, Hollier recorded 'Message To A Harlequin' with the assistance of Donovan arranger John Cameron. Hollier was also a regular on London's folk club circuit for several years…
This album at hand by prolific legend Martin Denny is the one which gave a name to an entire genre. Released for the first time in 1956, “Exotica” does have more than just a historical importance. The songs are all outstanding. Based on jazz and folk this is an early example of mind altering music , because the album sets you in a dreamy state with all its haunting melodies and the sound effects that remind of wild animals in the jungle trees. The rhythmical base is rooted in Latin music,…
*Yellow vinyl in gatefold sleeve with poster limited to 500 copies* Delia Derbyshire’s work at the BBC’s Radiophonic Workshop in the 60’s was recognised initially for her realisation of the now iconic Doctor Who Theme which was written for the show by Ron Grainer. More recently though, she has been celebrated for her own compositions and experiments at what was then the cutting edge of electronic music. Here on 7" vinyl for the first time are two of her pieces, one written for a TV documentary i…
*Limited edition of 400 copies.* "Brilliant new instrumental fork-bending from the always amazing Elkhorn, presented here in a quartet setting I had not heard before. The basic band remains Drew Gardner on electric guitar and Jesse Sheppard on acoustic, but as often seems to happen with these guys, there are a couple more faces in the studio. This time it's two drummers. One is Ian McColm, a Virginia tub monster who has played in many excellent situations, including a 2012 Feeding Tube duo casse…
Formed in 1966, The Electric Prunes had a novel approach to being a band: deciding to be a recording unit rather than a live performance band. They discovered their signature sound -- reverb-drenched, beautifully chaotic garage pop -- and released one of the most fantastic, fuzzed-out singles of all time, 'I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night.' Guitar effects drip and splatter throughout (the band had landed an endorsement deal with Vox, who were the leaders in wild effects pedals at that time), a…
In 1968, The Electric Prunes collaborated with classically-trained musician David Axelrod to create Mass in F Minor, a religious-based rock opera. Even though the album is a head-scratcher side by side with their previous records, this has become one of the era's most bizarre and hypnotic releases. Sung in Latin with the band hanging onto Axelrod's ambitious arrangements; you've never heard anything like it. It created enough of a cultural mark that the lead track 'Kyrie Eleison' was even used i…
Due to their successful debut, the band's producer was in demand, leaving little time to devote to the Prunes. The band took full advantage of the adults not being in the room and created an incredible follow-up of original material on 1968's Underground. Here is where the band really leaned heavily into their knack for challenging pop. This album came to define what later gravediggers of the garage genre came to devour: Iggy Pop, The Ramones, and Patti Smith all took a riff here; an attitude th…
