*30 copies limited edition* Electroacoustic Work is a collection of experimental sound pieces recorded in 2024-2025. It includes work spanning from performance and composition to interactive installation material. A running theme between all tracks is the use of feedback. Crying Bark and Liquid Arm are concerned with feedback between performer, live electronic systems, and acoustic space. Lichen Cloud uses microphone feedback, spatialised by the tracked positions of people in the installation room. The installation space is sounded, and its resonant frequencies impact the frequency of the feedback, which is further excited by samples and synthesis.
Crying Bark and Lichen Cloud were originally designed for 3d multichannel playback; here they can be heard in binaural. Liquid Arm uses generative techniques to push a Disclavier piano past the point of human playability and transform the sound with digital signal processing. Nursed Hum uses three long tape loops, a piano and organ, as well as microphone feedback to build its dense textures. Sky Cone is composed of live processed mandolin.
