2024 Stock. Limited to 300 copies, Japan release only. ** Founded in 1978, the Croox consisted of graphic designer and Ink Records founder Mike Schmidt (who also worked for Kraftwerk, Sandra, Hubert Kah, Michael Cretu, Münchner Freiheit and Spider Murphy Gang, among others), Sabine “Bine” Niedergassel and Gerd Gaida aka Crashman , Clemenz and Kay Wolde and were a fixture in the New Wave scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s from the artistically fertile Düsseldorf. In addition to Croox, Ink Records also featured Gerd Gaida's band Reifenstahl and Don Bartnick. After Schmidt's sudden death in 1994, most of the label's releases were on hold for years without ever being repressed.

On April 22, 2022, the two Croox albums will be released as the first part of a four-part Ink Records retrospective as an original Japanese release, which will make the Düsseldorf scene band's songs available on CD for the first time, sound-restored and remastered, with rare extra tracks and miniaturized replicated original artwork! The four CDs come in a cardboard slipcase and, as usual, in a limited edition of 300 copies each.

“Money Her!” from 1981 was the second and last Croox studio album and is even more electronic-synth-heavy than its predecessor. The re-release contains 10 songs including the last Croox sign of life “Mensch und Ton” as a bonus track, all tracks were remastered from the historic original multi-track tape for this re-release by Tom Morgenstern in 2022. There is also an additional interview booklet (in Japanese and English) in which the people involved at the time have their say!
