Itinerario Beat was first released in 1973 and is credited to Rigol, pseudonym of the composer Duilio Radici, with an uncredited contribution by Ugo Fusco, author of several soundtrack LPs for Edizioni Leonardi. It was played by The Blue Sharks, the studio group also heard on It Became Crystal.
The ten instrumentals are written for bass, drums, piano and Hammond organ, and move between beat, jazz-funk and symphonic pop, arranged and played with real taste. Titles such as Strane Vacanze, L'Ascensore, Quartiere Residenziale and La Baita sketch a small travelogue of everyday Italy.
Itinerario Romantico later had a second life when Travis Scott sampled it on 90210. Reissued by Redi Edizioni with a faithful reproduction of the original artwork.
