It Became Crystal opened Redi Edizioni's library reissue series, and it is one of the heavyweights of the genre. It was first released in 1972 on Leonardi Records, written by Giorgio Zinzi (credited as Ipcress) and Carmelo Carucci, who brought in the composer and songwriter Stelvio Cipriani.
As the Blue Sharks the three mixed rock, funk and soul with ideas from their soundtrack work, and the Moog synthesizer colours the whole record, from The Bishop's House to A Sort of Witchery and A "Watt" Too Much. An evergreen of Italian library music.
