Suspended sounds and vocalizations in Latin introduce the scrupulous 'electronic' commentary of Pino Donaggio. While the mysterious atmosphere of the opener La Setta soon evolves into a syncopated rhythm, the following Ansimando offers the listener disturbing notes of keyboards and elliptical effects of synthesizers that constitute, in addition, the central body of the mysterious Il Cuore Strappato. The dreamlike plots of Sogno are, instead, based on the continuous dialogue between acoustic guitar and violin. Metrò a crazy splinter. Il Mistero Del Pozzo a mystic organ solo. Ethereal and deep La Mente Di Miriam, ideal to project oneself one step away from the abyss. The tracklist of "The Sect" (2019) is rounded out by Keith Emerson's piano performance Prelude To Candice and the ballads poised between folk and rock The Heights Of Alma and Whistle These Old Blues, respectively signed by singer-songwriters Donovan and Ken Tobias.
