Obscure and intriguing 1988 library album on the microscopic Twins Records with diverse synth-pop, disco and atmospheric electronic music. Never re-issued on either LP or CD.
condition (record/cover): NM / EX- (light seams wear)
Gianluca Podio is a Roman composer and conductor who has scored films and worked extensively for television; Lettere ("Letters") on Twins Records is a library album from his earlier career, a suite of pieces organised, as the title suggests, as correspondence, each cue a message in a different register. Piano and electronics predominate, with a chamber sensibility that sets it apart from the funk-driven Roman product of the same years.
Twins was a small publisher and the record is scarce. Original pressing.
