2006 release ** ""The album contains a selection of pieces I have been working on over the last 4 years. The key is the titular "work with an image", i.e., apart from exceptions that must be found, I drew my themes from outside the territory of music. What I mean here is that the direct pretext for creating the piece was not so much the desire to consider some musical possibility or to face a technical problem, but rather a fascination with an external object: a film, a person, a view. Most of the pieces were created at my home - made for an image, or from imagination, recorded on a multi-track or thought up on paper and eventually recorded in the studio. Another characteristic of this material is the shifting of the role of the computer to the mastering stage, i.e. its complete exclusion from the creative process. This decision resulted from fatigue with electronic and electroacoustic music, which I dealt with as part of projects Meoma and Ea. As Irek Socha laughs at me - my musical development is progressing in the opposite direction - from abstract electronics towards traditional methods of notating a score and working with musicians. These are such jokes, but there is something hidden in them... There is also no sound synthesis or samples in any of the pieces - all the instruments really exist and were recorded by me or by musician friends. The works I show here do not have the ambition to set new directions in art or compete with its great works, they are rather records of my personal pleasures, drawn from communion with beautiful images and imagined as arrangements of sounds.""
