Two names. Four decades of uncompromising noise. One collision. Genocide Organ - the masked Mannheim collective who have defined the outer limits of power electronics since 1985, founders of the legendary Tesco Organisation, architects of Leichenlinie and Save Our Slaves - meet Prurient, the Wisconsin-born, New York-forged vessel of Dominick Fernow, the man who built Hospital Productions from a teenager's bedroom label into the most influential noise imprint of the 21st century.

This is not their first encounter. Carte Blanche (2023) marked the initial fusion of these two forces. But Maggots On The Cliffside pushes deeper into the wound. Four tracks. No compromise. No escape. The title piece opens the assault - nearly nine minutes of crawling, festering electronics that justify every syllable of its name. John Wayne follows, a meditation on American mythology rendered in distortion and dread. Side B brings The Holy Lance - the spear that pierced Christ's side, the relic that obsessed emperors and dictators - before Ear Necklace closes the record with a reference to atrocities that need no elaboration.

"I don't want anyone to visit my grave. I don't want anyone to know I'm gone. Flamethrowers are worse than death. I have no words for you but there is something you still can do - you can just die."

The Maggot Militia has spoken.

Genocide Organ emerged from mid-1980s Germany with a methodology that remains unchanged: blowtorches, scrap metal, sampled war footage, voices masked and distorted beyond recognition. Their rare live appearances are exercises in sensory assault. Their recordings - from Mind Control (1995) through Obituary of the Americas (2016) to the recent Death Zones - have consistently explored the machinery of power, violence, and control without offering the comfort of clear ideological positioning.

Prurient represents the American counterpoint - Fernow's project has sprawled across hundreds of releases since 1997, from the raw power electronics of early cassettes through the atmospheric sprawl of Frozen Niagara Falls (2015) to recent explorations of industrial techno under aliases like Vatican Shadow and Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement. Where Genocide Organ operates in deliberate obscurity, Prurient has become a visible figure - yet both share an absolute refusal to soften their attack.

Together, they create something that belongs to neither alone. Maggots On The Cliffside is the sound of two organisms feeding on the same carcass, their movements synchronized by instinct rather than design. The result is harsh, volatile, and uncompromising - noise as negation, electronics as erasure.
