One his best work, this is the rare 33rpr EP released in 1976 for the italian Pari e Dispari art gallery "The word "hymn" roughly translates the traditional meaning of the Sanskrit term "Gatha," and the spiritual nature of the work is toward de-emphasization of the individual egos of the author and the performers, to open them up to what is going on around them. In the Buddhist sense this could ultimately lead to union with all things. Mac Low does not try for anything that ambitious -- such an attempt would probably be more of an exaltation of egos than a release from them"
