*100 copies limited edition* There’s a raw hypnotic quality in Jerome’s output, a perceived facility to summon heavy bass, circular mantras and elastic shadowy beats. Over the last three years they have refined and cultivated their unique dystopian mixture of industrial, techno and dark electronics and their new EP ‘Moving’ is a fascinating snapshot of their ever-changing journey.

Based in Bristol, UK and Athens, Greece the Italian/Swedish/Greek duo of Annalisa Iembo and Stella Mathioudakis have already delivered ‘Moods’ (2020) and ‘LP2’ (2021), two rhythmic hauntingly absorbing records that maintained a fine line between razor-sharp electro anthems and ambient bliss. ‘Moving’ expands the low thud, upping the BPMs and venturing into tech-step territory, once again guided by early industrial precursors like Regis. Noir club anthems and phased out footwork (‘Salo Panto’) mixed with dungeon jammers and mutant alien club hits are the basis of their new painting. Vivid, ferocious and sub heavy. Once again Jerome’s music unites body, movement and warmth while punctuating and exploring synthesized realities & club culture.

“This band’s music is deeper than just dance music” Cvlt Nation
"Technoid mutations and chaotic, shifting structures become danceable industrial rhythms” Ransom Note
“The pair have created a blinding statement album for their debut long player.” Inverted Audio
