A recurring dream, macabre visions in which a symbol appears, a seal of a mysterious shape that you have never seen before. The dream becomes an obsession, acquiring details as the nights pass. Details that lead to an ancient dungeon dug into the mountain north of the city. It is not the treasures that can be found there that drive you to search, but the mystery of the Dark Seal. You gather a group of adventurers and rogue like you to face the expedition into the caves: each of you is driven by different motivations, but all are equally thirsty for adventure. Let the quest begin...
The dungeon-synth ensemble Dunjon Magik is back with an album of classic old school dungeon crawling, in collaboration with artist Turbogamma, who created the album's grim and visionary artwork. Dunjon Magik's chthonic and psychedelic style reaches its peak in "The Dark Seal", with increasingly complex compositions full of sense of wonder. Lovers of the bloodiest and darkest fantasy literature, by Clark Ashton Smith, Karl E. Wagner, H.P. Lovecraft and Thomas Ligotti: this album is for you!
While recording this album, the members of Dunjon Magik played an old computer RPG game for DOS called "Wizzardz & Warlordz" (archive.org/details/wizzards_war_lords_playable). A primitive experience of dungeons exploration that inspired the composition of the album "The Dark Seal".In the cassette you will find a monographic booklet dedicated to "Wizzardz & Warlordz" CRPG: a dive into the past, when dungeons were made of white pixels on a black screen and some beep-beeps were enough to make you feel sensations of adventure and mystery.
Format
The cassette includes an unpublished story by Lorelei entitled "The Bloody Spider".
