Sachiko primarly performs live in Tokyo with drone music centered around her voice. Here, in this new studio album, her voice seems concealed within the silence of the outer space or among a forest settling into stillness. The soundscapes are carefully crafted for a slow reveal, wavering and drifting, with the electronics and viola at times taking the lead, gradually unveiling an abyss of emotion.

While playing the bass in the Japanese bands Kousokuya and Overhang Party, Sachiko began her solo project around 2002, a ritualistic and psychedelic exploration of drone music with her own voice at its center. She released her first album in 2006 and has since performed at festivals and toured Europe. She is also a member of Tangerine Dream Syndicate and Albedo Gravitas, and continues to organize and perform at live events. Sachiko also founded and runs the independent label Musik Atlach. Dream Syndicate" and "Albedo Gravitas," and plans live series. Also she runs the label "Musik Atlach."
